Copper: CW024A – CW004A
Used since the ancient Romans as water pipes and at different times in various fields: plumbing, electrical and thermal capacity having regard to its high conductivity; construction for gutters, rainwater pipes, roofing, artistic as ductile and malleable. It is an important component in many other non-ferrous metals alloys.
Its chemical symbol is Cu.
Divided into two main compositions according to use:
Cu DHP UNI EN 12449 CW024A
pipes for general use and for industrial use and plumbing
- soft annealed pipes in rolls from diameter mm 3×0,5 to mm 22×1
- soft annealed pipes in rolls diameter mm. 8-10-12-14-16 mm thick. 1.5
- hard straight pipes from diameter mm 5×1 mm to mm 108×2,5
Cu ETP UNI EN 13601 CW004A
particularly suitable for use with high electrical conductivity, are available ready-to-stock:
- round bars from diameter 5 mm to diameter 130
- square bars from mm 8×8 to 120×120
- flat bars from mm 10×2 to 200×20

- soft annealed wire from diameter mm 0.5 to diameter 3

Plate, sheet and strip for general use
- hard stip mm 500×0.1
- raw tapes from mm. 500×0,1 mm. 1000×0, 6 and mm. 1000×0, 8
- hard plates from mm 2000x1000x0,4 to mm 2000x1000x10
- soft annealed plates from mm. 2000x1000x0, 4 to mm2000x1000x5
Even in small dimensions plates. Plates cut to size also in OFHC UNI EN 1652 CW008A.
Also available on clients’ request bars in copper beryllium – copper chromium-zirconium – copper tellurium.
